Job summary

Model Oncology is seeking a Director of Clinical Research to build and lead the program expanding access to investigational cancer therapies within partner health systems. Reporting to the Vice President of Clinical Transformation, this individual will help design the clinical research infrastructure, SOPs, and site-readiness processes needed to bring trials into partner health systems.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in oncology research.
• Minimum 7 years of oncology clinical research experience.
• Experience building trial infrastructure and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on oncology trial operations and GCP standards.
• Answer complex feasibility, eligibility, and protocol questions.
• Assess site readiness and develop trial activation plans.
• Develop training programs for coordinators, nurses, and pharmacy teams.
• Design protocols, workflows, and SOPs for start-up and monitoring.
• Expand patient access by integrating trials into care pathways.
