Job summary

Novant Health seeks a Medical Director for Oncology Developmental Therapeutics in Charlotte, NC to lead the early phase program across solid tumors. This role combines clinical leadership, program development, and regulatory engagement to advance translational clinical research and investigator-initiated studies within the Cancer Institute.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
• Experience leading early-phase oncology trials and regulatory interactions.
• Proven ability to organize translational research and investigator-initiated studies.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical direction and oversight of early phase trials, PI role or support.
• Leads development of strategies for early-phase trials across solid tumors.
• Initiates and chairs the Developmental Therapeutics working group.
• Mentors developmental therapeutics faculty and recruits as program matures.
• Collaborates with translational researchers and external partners.
