Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Scientific Director for Oncology Clinical Development focused on Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. The role leads the direction, planning and interpretation of clinical trials within one or more development programs, coordinating cross-functional teams to generate high-quality data and align scientific strategy with business goals.

The position requires strong leadership, extensive trial experience, and proven ability to drive complex programs independently, with a focus on NHL

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in the sciences; MS/PhD preferred.
Hematology experience preferred; NHL experience strongly preferred.
At least 8 years of clinical trial experience in pharma, academia, or equivalent.
Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities; English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Leads and ownership of design and implementation of multiple clinical development programs aligned with the product development plan.
May lead clinical study teams, monitor study integrity, and ensure enrollment and timelines for key deliverables.
Owns design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of protocols, CRs, and regulatory submissions.
Oversees work of Medical/Scientific Directors and Clinical Scientists on related programs.
Participates in Integrated Evidence Strategy Teams and contributes to Clinical Development Plans.
