Responsibilities

• Provide senior underwriting leadership over teams responsible for referrals and consultations.
• Coach, mentor and train teams; delegate authority and maintain field visibility.
• Monitor external factors across market segments and develop tactics to capitalize on opportunities or mitigate risk.
• Drive adoption of underwriting strategies and guidelines to balance growth with disciplined risk selection.
• Engage with customers to understand operations, exposures, and evolving needs.
• Collaborate with actuarial, analytics, claims, product, legal, and regulatory teams to align underwriting strategy with business goals.
• Generate insights on emerging risks to drive portfolio growth and profitability.
• Support talent development and succession planning through structured coaching.
