Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a Director of Transportation to lead the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of the end-to-end transportation network. You will oversee all modes—LTL, FTL, Intermodal, Parcel, Ocean, and Air—while optimizing service, cost, and customer experience.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable growth and operational excellence. The role requires executive-level leadership, data-driven decision making, and a passion for developing people

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive transportation leadership experience.
• 5 years leading managers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing domestic and international transportation networks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enterprise transportation strategy for domestic and international operations.
• Lead transportation networks across LTL, Truckload, Intermodal, Parcel, Ocean, and Air.
• Oversee transportation procurement, carrier sourcing, contracts, and annual bid events.
• Drive long-term network strategies to improve service, resiliency, and cost efficiency.
• Monitor market conditions and adjust network strategies accordingly.
• Build executive relationships with carriers and negotiate contracts.
