Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering to own the technical vision and end-to-end delivery of the Consumer and Community Banking Risk Feature Engineering Platform. You will lead multiple technical areas, manage several departments, and collaborate across domains to advance AI-enabled engineering and scalable delivery.

You will set standards, drive platform governance, and align with enterprise objectives while partnering with Databricks to roadmap and achieve feature

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• Experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex items at scale.

Responsibilities

• Sets the multi-year technical vision and architecture for the platform.
• Leads teams across streams including Feature Store, attribute engines & migration, and real-time feature generation.
• Resolves architecture decisions, sets engineering standards, and raises the technical bar.
• Drives cross-domain reuse and measurable capacity unlock across departments using SDLC automation.
• Sets data governance, quality, and lineage direction across the platform, including PCI handling.
• Partners with Databricks on platform roadmap and feature parity for risk features.
• Interfaces with senior leaders and executives to align objectives and secure consensus.
• Manages multiple stakeholders and large cross-product collaborations.
• Influences senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams.
