Job summary

Flosum is seeking a senior Node.js developer to own substantial parts of our backend and APIs powering a Salesforce-native DevSecOps platform. You will work directly with engineering leadership to ship production code used by Fortune 500 enterprises.

You will build scalable backend services, TypeScript frontend components, and CI/CD tooling in a remote-first environment, collaborating with product managers and executives. Expect high-impact work and ownership from day one.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Node.js development in production environments for enterprise-grade SaaS.
• Expert understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and Node.js internals.
• Deep experience with TypeScript in production codebases and typed code.
• Strong RESTful API design, authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0, JWT), and API security.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and schema design at scale.
• Git workflows, code review, automated testing (unit/integration/e2e), and CI/CD.
• Containerization (Docker) and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure); IaC principles.

Responsibilities

• Build high-performance backend services and APIs powering enterprise SaaS.
• Develop secure Node.js microservices and Salesforce integrations.
