Flosum is hiring a Director of Software Development to lead a 10-person engineering team building Node.js and Salesforce-integrated products. This hands-on leadership role centers on compressing delivery schedules, boosting developer velocity, and owning the performance of the entire solution.

You will turn roadmaps into shipped software—on time, with quality, and at scale—while mentoring engineers and aligning with Product, QA, and Infra.

Formación

• 10+ years in software engineering.
• 5+ years leading development teams of 8–20 engineers.
• Hands-on leadership with technical architecture focus.
• Deep Node.js (Express/Nest) and Salesforce experience.
• Distributed systems design and performance‑critical solutions.
• Strong estimation/planning in Agile/Scrum or Kanban.
• Cloud-native delivery with AWS, CI/CD, IaC and modern DevOps.
• Excellent stakeholder communication with executives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of 10 engineers across Node.js and Salesforce work.
• Drive developer velocity using DORA metrics: lead time, deployment frequency, change failure rate, MTTR.
• Break epics into deliverable slices and challenge inflated estimates with data.
• Architect end-to-end Node.js microservices and Salesforce integrations.
• Own performance: latency, throughput, SLOs, cost; enforce accountability.
• Establish sprint/release discipline; remove blockers; protect team pace.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Infra to align roadmap and capacity.
• Recruit and onboard engineers; foster ownership and speed.
