Job summary

Circana is seeking an experienced software leader to design, architect, and deliver custom applications for the CPG and data analytics industry across multiple U.S. locations.

You will manage IT development teams, including onshore and offshore resources, and oversee the full application lifecycle from concept through deployment. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, mentor high-performing engineering teams, and drive technical innovation and engineering

Qualifications

• Master’s in CS, CE, or related field.
• 7 years of software engineering experience required.
• Bachelor’s + 9 years of experience acceptable.
• 2 years experience leading technical IT teams.
• Experience with UI frameworks/interfaces, Java development; machine Learning; Python; node.js/Angular, React.js.
• High-volume web platforms; cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), scalability and deployment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of custom applications and technology solutions for the CPG and data analytics industry across multiple U.S. locations.
• Manage IT development teams, including both onshore and offshore resources.
• Architect, design, and develop custom web applications from concept through deployment.
• Oversee the full application lifecycle, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Launch and scale custom applications and solutions built from the ground up.
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and refine technical solutions.
• Build, mentor, and maintain high-performing engineering teams to execute technical strategies and business objectives.
• Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence across development initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate efforts between onshore and offshore delivery teams.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
