Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a regional sales strategy aligned with national objectives for a specialty biologic therapy.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and performance targets across the assigned geography.
  • Lead regional business planning and ensure optimal allocation of resources and budget adherence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including thought leaders and top institutions.
  • Translate high-level business insights into clear, measurable action plans for the sales team.
  • Regularly assess team performance, providing coaching, feedback, and development support.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments such as marketing, market access, and medical affairs.

Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of experience in pharma or biotech sales, including at least 3–5 years in a second-line leadership role.
  • Background in rare disease sales preferred.
  • Experience with injectable therapies and a strong grasp of specialty pharmacy dynamics is essential.
  • Proven ability to exceed sales targets and lead teams in dynamic, complex environments.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to turn strategy into execution.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement pathways and evolving healthcare trends is critical.
  • Additional experience in marketing, operations, or sales support functions is a plus.
