Qualifications

• Earned doctoral degree in a discipline related to one of the academic units in the College.
• Demonstrated success in research warranting tenure in a related discipline.
• Prior experience in academic leadership at program, center, institute, department, or college level.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-informed decisions.
• Experience developing programs to support faculty research and elevate institutional profile.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Office of Research operations and supervise ~15 faculty and staff.
• Identify and implement grant development activities and proposal tracking systems.
• Ensure high-quality customer service in grant administration and amplify research activities.
• Track grant activity and analyze proposals, awards, and publications using analytical tools.
• Maintain fiscal responsibility for OoR budget and external funds.
• Coordinate research amplification and scholarly communication activities.
• Advise college leadership on research strategy and workload implications.
