Job summary

Florida State University seeks an Associate Dean for Academic Affairs to lead the Office of Academic Services and Intern Support (OASIS) within Anne Spencer Daves College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences. Qualifications

• Earned doctoral degree in a discipline related to one of the academic units.
• Demonstrated success in research and/or teaching, depending on the type of faculty line.
• Prior experience in academic leadership at the program, center, institute, department, or college level.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the Office of Academic Services and Intern Support (OASIS) within the College.
• Lead, supervise, and evaluate approximately 17 faculty and staff in the Academic Affairs unit.
• Advise College students, faculty, and chairs on Grade Appeals and General Grievance processes.
• Coordinate college data processes, annual program satisfaction surveys, and data sharing.
• Maintain and align curriculum and degree program inventories with university offices.
• Represent the College on committees related to academic affairs and accreditation.
