Position Summary:

The Sr. Director of Product Development leads our technology application strategies, overseeing the application development lifecycle of bespoke and third-party integrated applications. This role manages a dynamic team of managers, developers, and analysts to drive innovation, exceed customer expectations, and support the company's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Strategy: Define and implement the strategic vision for application development, ensuring alignment with company goals and standardization.
2. Financial Oversight: Manage annual P&L for resources and project expenses.
3. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of leaders, developers, and analysts to ensure high-quality project delivery.
4. Project Management: Oversee planning, development, and deployment of applications ensuring scalable solutions.
5. Innovation: Continuously seek process improvements and incorporate new technologies to enhance application performance and user experience.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, QA, and IT Operations for seamless application integration.
7. Resource & Risk Management: Allocate resources efficiently and develop risk mitigation strategies.
8. Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders, including executives and customers.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Technical expertise in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and development tools
• Understanding of P&L principles and budgeting
• Leadership and team-building skills
• Experience managing complex projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Familiarity with cloud computing and SaaS
• Industry or company size experience
