Job summary

KSPS PBS in Spokane seeks a Director of Philanthropy & Fundraising to lead a seasoned team, shape strategy, and grow a $4.8 million annual philanthropy program. You will work with an executive team and board to sustain donor relationships and help the organization thrive in public media.

You will oversee major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, and underwriting while ensuring strong donor stewardship and pipeline development.

Qualifications

• Significant fundraising leadership experience with demonstrated results.
• Ability to build donor relationships and solicit philanthropic support.
• Experience with multiple fundraising channels and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach an eight-person development team with clear goals.
• Develop and execute a $4.8M annual philanthropy program.
• Replace approximately $1.2M in lost federal funding through sustainable revenue.
• Personally manage a focused portfolio of approximately 25–40 major donor prospects.
• Strengthen donor stewardship, moves management, and pipeline development.
