Job summary

Sysco in Seattle seeks a senior operations leader to oversee Inbound and Outbound Warehouse, Fleet Services, Facilities, Transportation and all operating systems. You will drive site performance, safety, and cost control while shaping a culture of care and continuous improvement.

You will build and develop a high-performing operations team, translate corporate initiatives into actionable plans, and ensure on-time delivery, regulatory compliance and efficient use of assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a closely related field.
• 10 years of professional experience with progressive management responsibilities (with at least 5-7 years in operational management).
• Experience in warehouse and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver site-level execution of key corporate, market, and regional Operations initiatives.
• Deliver exceptional Customer Service through on time delivery and post ship service levels.
• Drive continuous improvement across all Operations departments by championing efficiency ideas and cost reduction measures.
• Create a culture of care and collaboration within the site and implement Operations Connections.
• Adjust activities to meet or exceed key performance metrics and customer service level goals.
• Prepare and execute the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) with input from the management team.
• Oversee operating budget management including labor, benefits, supplies, assets, and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and DOT requirements.
