Beaver Dam Health Care Center is seeking a Director of Nursing to oversee the Nursing Department, coordinating with other disciplines to provide quality care for residents. The DON will monitor outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage budgeted resources while leading and developing nursing staff.

The role requires RN licensure in Wisconsin, a BSN/MSN preferred, and 3–5 years of progressive management experience in long-term or post-acute care.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where employed.
• BSN/MSN degree preferred.
• Three to five years progressive management experience in long-term, sub-acute or post-acute care preferred.
• Ability to work flexible work hours to support state and federal resident care requirements.
• Superior customer service aptitude and approach.

Responsabilités

• Oversee nursing interventions to meet each patient/resident's physical, cognitive and social needs.
• Monitor nursing service outcomes, ensure compliance with standards and budgets.
• Assume operation of the facility in the absence of the Facility Administrator.
• Develop short and long-range plans for the nursing department aligned with the facility.
• Recruit and staff nursing personnel within budgetary guidelines.
• Foster effective employer/employee relations and maintain staffing ratios.
• Collaborate with other departments and participate in quality improvement committees.
