Job summary

Executive Director, Inc. (EDI) is seeking an experienced Executive Director for CSRO in Milwaukee, WI. This senior leadership role provides strategic direction, oversees governance, fundraising, finances, and communications for the Coalition of State Rheumatology Organizations.

You will work with the Board, manage client activities, ensure compliance, coordinate meetings, and represent CSRO at industry events. Travel ~15 days/year; onsite two days per week required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional experience in a related field and excellent written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the grant/fundraising development for CSRO.
• Oversee implementation of strategic goals as directed by Board president.
• Oversee legal responsibilities of the organization (taxes, bylaws, contracts, etc.).
• Oversee financial activities, including payment of invoices, budget preparation, monthly financial records, annual audit, etc.
• Supervise day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the association.
• Oversee development and publication printed materials and other communications to members.
• Oversee committee infrastructure and activities.
• Oversee maintenance and updates of the client website.
• Coordinate agendas and other materials for Board meetings and conference calls.
• Attend and facilitate in-person Board meetings.
• Attend and facilitate committee conference calls.
• Take and distribute minutes of Board and committee meetings and conference calls.
• Attend the Fellows education meeting and provide support and staff oversight for all related functions.
• Represent CSRO at related meetings when appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.
