Job summary

UF ECE Ambassadors is seeking a Director of Development & Strategic Alumni Engagement to lead fundraising and alumni relations efforts at UF. The role focuses on growing a portfolio of major gift prospects, building meaningful donor relationships, and aligning donor interests with college initiatives.

Qualifications

Must have a Master's degree in an appropriate area and 3 years of related development experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

Grow and manage a portfolio of major gift prospects ($100,000+).
Identify, visit, and cultivate prospects; develop solicitation strategies.
Collaborate with faculty and leadership to align donor interests with initiatives.
Develop engagement programs across alumni, donors, students, and partners.
Plan and execute donor events and stewardship activities.
Record donor activity and track pipeline using the Advance system.
