Job summary

The New York Foundling seeks an experienced leader to guide organization-wide staff development, curriculum design, and training implementation. You will build and oversee engaging, evidence-informed programs that strengthen services for children, families, and communities.

In this role, you will lead a team of curriculum designers and trainers, collaborate with program and quality leaders, and drive a culture of continuous learning and equity throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education, Social Work, Organizational Development, or related field.
• 7+ years of curriculum design, staff development, and training within a nonprofit setting.
• 8+ years of leadership and team management experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in instructional design and program implementation.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in training.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic vision and development of agency-wide staff development initiatives.
• Design and oversee culturally responsive training curricula for staff serving children and families.
• Supervise a team of designers and learning professionals.
• Partner with program and leadership to align learning with goals.
• Implement blended learning solutions for accessibility and engagement.
• Provide coaching and resources to support program fidelity and outcomes.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust curricula based on data.
• Champion a learning culture aligned with diversity, equity, inclusion.
