Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Director of Labor and Employee Relations to lead enterprise-wide labor relations strategy, operations, and compliance. Reporting to the VP Talent Management, you will oversee negotiations, investigations, and policy interpretation while partnering with HR, Legal Affairs, and executives to mitigate risk and foster a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years in labor/employee relations and 3 years of bargaining experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• 6 years progressive Labor Relations, Employee Relations, or Human Resources management experience.
• 3 Years labor relations including labor contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide labor and employee relations strategy, operations, and compliance programs.
• Direct design, implementation, and administration of programs addressing workplace matters such as conduct, discipline, performance, and policy interpretation.
• Collaborate with People Services and Legal Affairs to promote compliant employee and labor relations practices.
• Serve as Sharp’s system-wide subject matter expert on labor relations and liaison to unions and represented employees.
• Monitor and apply relevant federal/state labor laws and evolving labor relations trends.
