WVU Foundation in Morgantown seeks a Senior/Executive Director of Development for the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources.

The role leads an advancement program with two gift officers and reports to the WVU Foundation Associate VP, Schools and Units Development. You will build relationships with college leadership, craft strategies for donor engagement, and supervise staff to meet fundraising priorities while staying aligned with university goals.

Qualifications

  • Ability to build trusting partnerships across constituents.
  • Understanding higher education infrastructure and alumni relations.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate WVU Foundation core values of Trust, Transparency and Teamwork.
  • Manage all aspects of the Statler College development program and major gift portfolio.
  • Advise the Dean on advancement matters.
  • Provide strategic guidance on major and principal gift development and solicitation.
  • Supervise and mentor College development staff.
  • Manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects.
  • Plan and complete travel to contact prospects and donors.
  • Maintain knowledge of College and University priorities.
