Job summary

West Virginia University Foundation is seeking a Senior/Executive Director of Development for the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources. You will lead the college’s advancement program, manage major gift and principal gift portfolios, and report to the WVU Foundation AVP, Schools and Units Development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Minimum 7 years in major/planned gift fundraising with direct reports.
• Strong knowledge of advancement, donor relations, and university philanthropy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Statler College development program and major gift efforts.
• Advise the Dean on advancement matters and strategy.
• Supervise and mentor development staff; manage portfolios.
• Travel regionally and nationally to contact prospects and donors.
