The role partners with the Executive Director, board, and staff to grow major gifts, annual giving, foundation and corporate support, and donor engagement.

The Director will lead a high-performing development team, build new donor pipelines, and create proactive fundraising systems while expanding donor

Qualifikationen

• Five+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience with major gifts.
• Proven success in donor cultivation and moves management.
• Experience with planned giving programs.
• Strong knowledge of Bay Area philanthropy is helpful.
• Experience working with a Board of Directors.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects.

Aufgaben

• Build and manage a robust donor portfolio and pipeline.
• Personally cultivate and solicit major donors and prospects.
• Engage supporters at performances, donor events, and meetings.
• Partner with the Executive Director and Board to prioritize fundraising activity.
• Lead fundraising strategy for major donor cultivation, annual giving, and events.
• Develop multi-year fundraising plans, budgets, and dashboards.
