Job summary

92nd Street Y's Flying Dolphins swim program is seeking an Associate Director to lead coaching efforts with emphasis on safety, skill development, and team growth. You will manage daily operations, budgeting, and staff, while promoting apparel sales and brand presence across events and online platforms.

You will collaborate with marketing and operations, oversee the Age Group program, schedule coaching sessions, and ensure high-quality pool experiences across all locations, including off-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
• 4+ years of coaching experience (ASCA level 2 or higher preferred).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer service or office environment.
• Extremely well organized and detail oriented with developed computer skills.
• Excellent, diplomatic communications skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead coaching duties with emphasis on safety and skill development.
• Direct daily operations of the YFD Swimming Program and Age Group program.
• Recruit, train, and manage Assistant Coaches; oversee Team Store promotions.
• Assist with budget drafting and achievement for the Aquatic Division.
• Schedule and organize special events and manage program branding/promotions.
