Job summary

Oracle seeks a seasoned People Manager to lead a Network Engineering group overseeing data center, backbone/edge, and cloud networking initiatives. You will drive strategies to improve reliability, security, performance, and cost outcomes, while owning revenue and budget accountability across the team.

You will partner with executive leadership, negotiate major contracts, and guide the organization through architecture and governance decisions that impact global networking operations at scale.

Qualifications

• Lead a Network Engineering group responsible for data center, backbone/edge, and cloud networking.
• Own revenue/budget accountability across the group, partner with executive leadership on direction.
• Lead negotiations and briefings on issues of organizational significance.

Responsibilities

• Defines multi-year architecture for fabrics, backbone/edge, IPv6-first, failure domains, traffic engineering, and Anycast; approves enterprise standards.
• Sponsors cross-org modernization initiatives and major migrations; sets governance for MOP/rollback, verification, and change risk.
• Establishes enterprise blueprints for VPC/VCN, transit/peering, PrivateLink/service endpoints, NAT, hybrid and inter-cloud; ensures consistency across regions.
• Sets policy for L4/L7 platforms and service insertion with SLO/cost targets; aligns placement and capacity strategies with business growth.
• Defines group-wide zero-trust strategy, segmentation, encryption, and DDoS/WAF posture; approves risk exceptions.
