Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure seeks a Senior Director of Network Engineering to lead the physical network engineering organization and shape the roadmap across compute, hardware and product teams. You will mentor engineers and senior staff while aligning initiatives with executives to scale OCI's global footprint.

You will drive strategic initiatives for performance, reliability and cloud workloads, partnering with Product and Networking leadership to advance hardware and network forward-looking

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 10+ years in networking leadership and architecture.
• Deep knowledge of cloud networking, fabrics, protocols.
• Experience guiding regional networking, partnerships and business strategy.
• Ability to design software platforms and run large programs.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and lead network engineering teams; hiring and performance management.
• Own long-term strategy for Physical Network Engineering and cross‑team collaboration.
• Lead execution roadmap for sub-teams with metrics.
• Provide updates to executives to influence infrastructure portfolio.
• Own network product definition with product teams.
• Drive vendor and supplier management for hardware and software delivery.
• Mentor and coach area leaders and senior staff.
