Job summary

LAZ Parking in Newark, NJ seeks a Director of Operations to oversee financials and 24/7 parking operations for a portfolio. You will partner with the GM and home office to implement programs, while supporting site teams to deliver exceptional client service.

You will lead multi-unit teams, manage budgets and P&L, develop new locations, and ensure safety, compliance, and performance against contracts. Travel to sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of multi-unit management experience.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Parking management experience across multiple locations.
• Willingness to travel daily/weekly.
• Strong understanding of P&L and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage client accounts and develop relationships for retention.
• Increase revenue and control expenses while maintaining service levels.
• Assist with business development, proposals, and transitions for new locations.
• Lead and develop Facilities Managers and Assistant Managers.
• Plan and execute openings of new locations within the portfolio.
• Prepare budgets and monthly profit/loss reviews by location.
• Liaise with police and emergency management as needed.
• Oversee event operations and market rate analysis.
• Review and negotiate parking and maintenance contracts.
