Job summary

TEC Development in Portland, OR seeks a Director of Property Management to establish a department, own the portfolio's facilities, budgets, and tenant relations. You will build systems, set SLAs, and guide cross‑team collaboration with TEC equipment leaders.

The role requires 10+ years in property management, proven scaling experience, and CPM/RPA/CFM certification preferred, with strong budgeting and vendor management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience with progressive responsibilities in property or facility management leadership.
• Proven experience building or scaling property/facility management systems and teams.
• Certification preferred: CPM, RPA, CFM or equivalent with ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Establish and deploy department systems, ticketing/CMMS platform, SLA standards and reporting.
• Own the Facility Projects program end-to-end including budgeting and execution.
• Develop operating and capital budgets per facility and allocate costs between landlord and tenants.
• Provide leadership to regional facility managers and recruit capacity as the department grows.
• Oversee tenant relations, R&M billing, and condition reporting across multi-state portfolio.
