Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of landlord-tenant laws, property regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction through responsive communication and issue resolution.
  • Oversee lease administration and coordinate with leasing teams to maintain occupancy goals.
  • Address escalated tenant concerns and develop effective solutions.
  • Ensure properties are maintained to company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs and capital improvement projects.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and service agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and risk management standards.
  • Develop long-term strategies to enhance property value and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor market trends and recommend initiatives to improve asset performance.
  • Support acquisitions, dispositions, and property transitions as needed.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to executive leadership and ownership groups.

Position Summary

The Director of Property Management is responsible for overseeing the strategic and day-to-day management of a portfolio of commercial and/or residential properties. This leadership role ensures operational efficiency, tenant satisfaction, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and the successful execution of property management initiatives. The Director will lead a team of property managers and support staff while partnering with ownership, vendors, and stakeholders to maximize asset value and portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations

  • Thorough understanding of landlord-tenant laws, property regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional designations such as CPM®, RPA®, CCIM®, or ARM® are preferred.
