Rhode Island Hospital is seeking a Senior Director of the Department of Surgery to lead ambulatory operations across multiple sites. The role partners with the SVP and Department Chair to align clinical, financial, and administrative priorities with enterprise strategy.

The incumbent will drive access improvements, standardize workflows, and oversee performance across sites, ensuring high-quality patient care while meeting budget targets.

Responsabilidades

• Provide operational leadership for ambulatory practices across multiple specialties and locations.
• Lead through a Director of Physician Practices, with accountability for site directors, managers, and operational teams.
• Own system-wide ambulatory performance, including access, clinic utilization, throughput, patient experience, quality, and cost performance.
• Establish and monitor operational performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Identify operational risks, barriers, and performance gaps; develop and implement corrective action plans in collaboration with clinical and administrative leadership.
• Escalate significant operational, financial, or performance issues with recommended action plans.
