U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Model Validation Director for Consumer and Payments within Risk Management and Compliance. This executive will lead independent model risk oversight and validation, partnering with model developers and business leaders to challenge designs and ensure responsible innovation.

The role requires strong leadership, deep Consumer/Payments modeling expertise, and the ability to communicate risks to senior leadership. On-site with some remote flexibility is expected.

Formación

• Advanced quantitative degree with 10+ years of modeling/model risk experience.
• Deep experience in Consumer and/or Payments modeling across multiple areas.
• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, ML, AI and model performance assessment.
• Proficiency in Python, SAS, R and/or SQL.

Responsabilidades

• Leads a highly skilled quantitative team responsible for independent validation and model risk oversight across Consumer and Payments.
• Provides independent challenge of model design, methodology, data, implementation and performance.
• Maintains knowledge of leading modeling practices and emerging techniques, including ML/AI.
• Develops understanding of business strategies and model applications to assess risk and impact.
• Communicates model risks and validation conclusions to senior management and regulators.
