Walmart's Sam’s Club is seeking a Senior Director, Membership to lead a large portion of the membership business, serving millions of members and driving recurring membership income. You will translate strategy into clear priorities and measurable outcomes, guiding pricing, benefits, and engagement to deliver long-term value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Social Science, Communications, or related field and 7 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area OR 9 years’ experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or related area. 3 years’ supervisory experience.
• Experience in a scaled membership, subscription, loyalty, or recurring-revenue business with growth/retention responsibilities.
• Strong strategic, financial, and cross-functional collaboration skills to drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead membership strategy and translate into measurable outcomes.
• Drive growth, engagement, loyalty, renewal, and retention based on member behavior and performance.
• Own membership economics including growth, churn, pricing, benefits, and lifetime value.
• Strengthen the membership proposition with improved products, services, pricing, and experiences.
• Lead complex decisions across partnerships, investments, and business transformation.
• Turn insights from member, financial, and operational data into action.
• Build partnerships and align cross-functional teams.
• Develop leaders by coaching Directors and Senior Managers.
