Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Evanston, IL is seeking a Director of Practice Operations to oversee the operations of all assigned medical groups and subsidiaries, partnering with Hospital Administration to achieve financial, operational and quality objectives.

You will drive staff recruitment and retention, ensure staff meet education requirements, and lead planning and coordination of department activities while pursuing continuous quality improvement across clinics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in business or healthcare management.
• Master’s degree in business or healthcare management preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in medical practice management required (with direct experience managing the revenue cycle).
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable management, coding, Medicare & Medicaid regulations, payor contracting, and Billing & Collections.
• Knowledge of credentialing, regulatory compliance, etc.
• Frequent local travel time required.

Responsibilities

• The Director of Practice Operations will oversee operations of all assigned medical groups and subsidiaries.
• Partner with Hospital Administration to meet financial, operational and quality goals.
• Increase engagement of providers and cultivate affiliations with targeted providers.
• Ensure staff meets educational requirements for duties.
• Staff clinics including recruitment and retention of staff.
• Plan, organize and influence department activities while maintaining continuous quality improvement.
