Job summary

Jacobs Management Group, Inc. seeks a Senior Director of Research & Development for a global medical device company. You'll own the acute care platform from concept through commercialization and build a world-class team across domestic and international sites.

The role requires leading cross-functional efforts, delivering end-to-end product development, and managing budgets and capital investments. Metro Atlanta relocation is available for non-local candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related area.
• Experience commercializing Class I, II, or III devices from concept to launch.
• Led development spanning systems engineering, hardware, and capital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Define platform R&D strategy and build business cases for new technologies.
• Lead programs end-to-end across hardware and systems engineering.
• Oversee design reviews, risk management, V&V strategy, and transfer to manufacturing.
• Manage departmental budgets, resource plans, and capital investments.
• Lead NPD and Sustaining Engineering.
