Job summary

American Bible Society invites a senior leader to drive mass fundraising across multiple channels, shaping donor engagement and revenue growth. This role reports to the Chief Development Officer and leads a high-visibility Mass Fundraising team within the Development function.

Based in Philadelphia with a hybrid office arrangement, the Senior Director will design annual and multi-year plans, manage agency partnerships, and ensure campaigns align with ABS values and brand voice while maximizing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in integrated, multi-channel mass fundraising with multi-million dollar budgets.
• Minimum of 5 years of management and leadership experience with a track record of building strong teams.
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM software and Microsoft tools.
• Broad understanding of mass fundraising campaigns, segmentation, analysis, and multi-channel integration.

Responsibilities

• Designs and monitors Mass fundraising’s multi-million-dollar budget and revenue forecast.
• Identifies strategies for donor acquisition, retention and upgrade, stewardship, and recurring giving across all channels.
• Oversees campaigns and testing against programmatic resourcing objectives.
• Manages agency relationships and internal/external partnerships to meet fundraising goals.
• Provides regular fundraising metrics reports to Development leadership.
