About the Role

At Athelas/Commure, we’re on a mission to transform healthcare operations with software that reduces administrative overhead and puts providers back in control. We’re looking for a Senior Director of Marketing to own our marketing strategy across brand, content, product, and events—driving awareness, accelerating funnel conversion, and fueling our next stage of growth.

We're looking for a scrappy, experienced SaaS marketing leader who’s taken a product from $10M to $50M+ ARR, knows how to speak to SMB and Mid-Market buyers, and thrives in a high-velocity environment. This role is perfect for someone who can both operate strategically and execute ruthlessly.

What You'll Do

  1. End-to-end marketing strategy across brand, product marketing, content, lifecycle, events, and partnerships
  2. Team leadership: Manage and grow a team including a performance marketer, content marketer, and events manager
  3. Brand execution: Bring a clear brand voice to life across all channels—we’ll hand you the foundation, you bring it to market
  4. Campaign ownership: Run multi-channel campaigns that convert. A/B test, attribute, and iterate.
  5. Lead gen and attribution: Track and optimize the full funnel from website tags and demos to social, events, and partner channels
  6. Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate closely with Sales, Enablement, RevOps, and Account teams to align messaging and our GTM plans
  7. External agency management: Lead relationships with contractors and partners (e.g. video, design, podcasts)

In your first 30 days, you’ll:

  1. Audit and update our existing external-facing assets (LinkedIn, Partiful, social channels)
  2. Finalize our brand positioning across assets and key pages
  3. Tally our existing lead and communication channels
  4. Lock down all our marketing assets that don’t meet our new standards

By day 60, you will:

  1. Launch our short-form video motion with support from an external contractor
  2. Develop a repeatable marketing calendar with weekly content and quarterly campaigns
  3. Own our Fall Event/Conference motion

By day 90, you will:

  1. Deliver pipeline attribution from campaigns (events, social, content, web) and optimize based on ROI
  2. Launch 1-2 brand new programs that drive demand among medical decision-makers (e.g. partnerships, in-person meetings, webinars, referral campaigns)
  3. Train our field sales team (doubling by EOY) on the power of consistent branding and unique ICP messaging

What You Have

  1. 7+ years of experience in SaaS marketing, with a focus on Product, Content, and Sales Enablement.
  2. 3+ years of experience managing a team—you're able to lead a distributed team with empathy and intention
  3. Expertise marketing to SMB and Mid-Market buyers; bonus if you’ve worked in healthcare or highly regulated spaces
  4. Proven experience taking a SaaS product to $100M ARR, ideally in a founder-led or high-growth environment
  5. Experience growing a marketing team from scratch, from IC to managing a large team
  6. Proven track-record of building and owning budget, delivering on the plan
  7. Demonstrated ability to articulate plans, drive measurable results and optimize marketing spend
  8. Successfully navigates and builds partnerships across different departments
  9. Energized by the prospects of operating in a fast-growing, ever-changing environment
  10. Experience across content, performance, events, and product marketing
  11. Strong command of a modern GTM stack: Salesforce, Hubspot, Outreach, Avoma, Canva, Figma, Arcade, and more
  12. Curiosity and energy—you don’t need to know AI, RCM, or RPM, but you’re eager to learn
  13. You’ve executed healthcare GTM motions or sold into medical practices, provider groups, or MSOs
  14. You’ve evolved a brand voice during a scale-up phase
  15. You can show us how you’ve turned marketing spend into attributed pipeline
