Job summary

Definium Therapeutics is seeking a Director of Market Research, Competitive Intelligence & Forecasting to own the integrated market insight process across assets and indications. You will guide primary research, data integration, forecasting, and strategic scenarios to inform commercial decisions and portfolio planning.

You will partner with Finance, Marketing, Market Access, and Medical Affairs, manage external vendors and budgets, and lead the forecast governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, economics, analytics, statistics, public health, marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive pharma/biotech experience in market research, CI, forecasting, analytics or insights.
• Demonstrated experience developing or managing patient-based demand and revenue forecasts.
• Experience with Long-Range Planning, annual budget, Latest Estimate, forecast updates, and scenario modeling.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. pharmaceutical commercialization process and healthcare.
• Experience managing external vendors, projects, and functional budgets.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated market research, competitive intelligence, and forecasting strategy for assigned assets and indications.
• Develop and execute primary market research across healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, payers, and health systems.
• Integrate primary research with epidemiology, claims, EHR, and payer data to generate insights.
• Lead competitive intelligence monitoring and assess developments affecting strategy or opportunities.
• Own patient-based demand and revenue forecasts with clear assumptions and governance.
• Lead Long-Range Planning and forecast-update cycles in partnership with Finance and leadership.
