Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Senior Director of Corporate Development who will report to the Vice President of Corporate Development and build a best-in-class function. You will lead transactions across acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, and restructurings, driving evaluation, negotiation, and integration.

You must show outstanding relationship skills with internal teams and external partners, think strategically, and execute tactically to close transactions.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree and MBA (preferable) with 10+ years in the M&A technology sector.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Hands-on deal leadership experience.
• Strong leadership and program management skills with cross-functional consensus-building.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; strategic agility and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support corporate development transactions through all phases of the transaction lifecycle.
• Partner with product leaders to identify strategic gaps and evaluate build/buy/partner options.
• Develop understanding of the competitive landscape and establish industry relationships.
• Collaborate with deal leads and cross-functional teams on diligence and value drivers.
• Perform valuation and pro forma analyses to capture trends and integration costs.
• Present clear rationale and risks to executives and boards; prepare recommendations.
• Build detailed M&A models and track integration expenses and synergies.
