Job summary

Genesis House seeks a Director of Events to lead the full lifecycle of every event, activation, exhibition, and guest experience in the House. Senior, hands-on leader melding luxury hospitality with cultural programming and brand storytelling.

Reporting to the General Manager, this role owns strategy support, production, on-site execution, budgeting, and post-event reconciliation to deepen brand affinity and safeguard the House’s mission across all floors.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in experiential events, brand activations, or cultural programming.
• Proven track record producing complex, high-visibility events in live venues.
• Strong production knowledge of LED, AV, lighting, and staging.
• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lead teams and manage budgets with calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Shape the events calendar with cross-functional teams.
• Align programming with the Genesis House 2.0 floor strategy and Cellar focus.
• Develop briefs, budgets, timelines, and success metrics for activations.
• Establish roles, approvals, and decision-making for each event.
• Source, manage, and reconcile event vendors; manage 60+ monthly and 80+ annual vendor relationships.
