Job summary

UCP of Maine is hiring a Senior Director/Administrator for the Elizabeth Levinson Center in Bangor. This full-time, salaried role oversees overall direction, program outcomes, and financial viability while ensuring staff are supported and compliant with applicable regulations.

The Senior Director/Administrator will lead hiring, training, and supervision of program managers and collaborate with HR to recruit a high-performing team, maintaining a vibrant Active Treatment program for residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a human services or health-related field, or administration; or a BA with advanced study in LTC administration.
• Eligibility to be licensed in Maine as Multilevel Administrator.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Proof of Influenza vaccination, TB test, and immunity to MMR, Varicella, and Hepatitis-B.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Elizabeth Levinson Center (an ICF-IID) at the program and financial level.
• Interview, hire, and train program managers to ensure effective operations.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, funding regulations, and internal policies.
• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and coordination with Finance.
• Lead staff recruitment and retention efforts; foster an employer of choice.
• Ensure resident dignity, safety, rights, and HIPAA compliance.
• Monitor regulatory surveys and implement corrective actions as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration or related field
