Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Director to lead the organization and its programs, overseeing daily operations, growth, and financial stability, delivering high-quality resident experiences. Reporting to the Board, the Director will develop policies, manage budgets, supervise staff, and build partnerships with stakeholders to sustain excellence in care and services.

Experience in independent living, retirement, or related settings is preferred, with a track record of strong leadership and governance

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Experience: Significant leadership and management experience.
• Skills: Strong communication and relationship skills.
• Budget: Proven ability to create and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff and operations of Independent Living/senior living facilities.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and operating standards.
• Oversee vendor and contract relationships and budgets.
• Promote resident satisfaction and quality of life through programs and services.
