Job summary

Uline, a family-owned company, is seeking a Director of Logistics and Transportation to lead the logistics strategy for North America's shipping network. You will shape carrier partnerships, transportation networks and long-term direction to support our expanding distribution system.

You will collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to drive procurement, improve service, and deliver on the promise of same-day shipping across our growing network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of transportation, logistics or supply chain leadership experience.
• Proven success leading teams, influencing stakeholders and driving cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience managing carrier relationships, including negotiations and performance management.
• Strong analytical skills with proven ability to drive logistics improvements.

Responsibilities

• Shape Uline’s logistics strategy across multiple transportation modes including LTL, parcel, truckload, intermodal, ocean and air.
• Own carrier procurement and contract negotiations, building strategic partnerships to strengthen capacity, improve service and optimize transportation costs.
• Use data and market insights to improve performance, strengthen reliability and drive transportation efficiency.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team focused on accountability, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Partner with executive leaders and across teams to shape long-term logistics strategy and drive enterprise transportation initiatives that support Uline’s continued growth.
