Job summary

Ladders is assisting a leader in the Energy & Utilities space by seeking a Senior Director, Logistics. This remote, US-based role owns logistics strategy and execution for complex operations, emphasizing safe, cost-efficient movement and scalable networks to support growth and major projects.

You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align logistics planning with sourcing, production, and broader business priorities, including new product launches and hydrogen

Qualifications

• 10+ years in logistics or supply chain with leadership in high-growth settings.
• Deep expertise in transportation and logistics strategy; energy/industrial sectors preferred.
• Hydrogen, hazardous materials, or over-dimensional logistics experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution for product movement and delivery, ensuring safe and cost-efficient operations.
• Own the transportation function and align execution with sourcing and production strategies.
• Establish scalable logistics network strategies to support North America expansion.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, Logistics to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space.

This senior leadership role will own logistics strategy and execution for complex energy operations, with a strong emphasis on safe, cost-effective movement and delivery. The position will help build scalable transportation and network capabilities to support growth, new product launches, and large-scale project activity. It will also partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align logistics planning with sourcing, production, and broader business priorities.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $160,000 – $190,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution for product movement and delivery, ensuring safe and cost-effective operations
• Own the transportation function and align execution with sourcing and production strategies

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
• 10+ years of logistics or supply chain experience, including leadership in complex, high-growth environments
• Deep expertise in transportation and logistics strategy, preferably within energy, industrial, or infrastructure sectors
• Experience with hydrogen, hazardous materials, or over-dimensional logistics strongly preferred
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost optimization, and contract negotiation
