Job summary

Capacity Entertainment LLC in Los Angeles is seeking a Director of Ticketing to lead all ticketing operations for live events and tours across North America. You will oversee event builds, on-sale execution, inventory management, and post-show settlements, acting as the primary liaison between the company, platforms, venues, and artist management.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in ticketing operations within live entertainment, concert promotion, or venue management.
• Proficiency with major ticketing platforms, including Ticketmaster (TM1/Host), AXS, or equivalent systems.
• Strong understanding of event scaling, pricing strategy, and inventory management in a concert promotion environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with artist management, agents, venue operators, and executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end event setup in ticketing platforms (Ticketmaster, AXS, DICE, Eventbrite, or equivalent).
• Configure event details including manifests, seating plans, price structures, presale access codes, and booking fees.
• Manage ticket holds for artist management, record labels, sponsors, VIP packages, and internal allocations.
• Prepare and distribute daily ticket count reports to agents, talent buyers, internal departments, and artist management.
• Monitor and analyze ticket sales trends to proactively manage inventory, adjust pricing, and maximize revenue.
• Coordinate discount and group ticket programs with third-party platforms and promotional partners.
• Manage fan-facing presale campaigns including fan club, artist, credit-card, and venue presales.
• Serve as primary ticketing contact for venues, platforms, artist management, and agents.
• Process comp requests, sponsorship orders, and ticket barters.
• Coordinate will-call and guest list management; ensure ADA-compliant ticketing practices.
• Train staff on ticket sales procedures, will-call, guest lists, and artist comps.
• Assist with creation of pop-ups or temporary box offices for seasonal shows and festivals.
• Compile post-show ticketing reports and reconcile counts for financial settlement.
