Job summary

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts is hiring a Senior Director, Production to lead live-event production across iconic venues, including David Geffen Hall and Alice Tully Hall, and public spaces. The role oversees a large team, ensuring top-tier performance, safety, and coordination with resident organizations.

The position requires extensive production experience, leadership capability, and deep knowledge of theater technology, with a focus on strategic planning and cross-department

Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in performing arts production, with at least 6 years in a leadership role.
• Excellent leadership, influence, decision-making, and delegation skills.
• Broad knowledge of performing arts production and entertainment technology.
• Strong strategic thinking with long-term planning and day-to-day operations balance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with IATSE Local One Stagehands and Local 306 Projectionists is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor all Production personnel, including full-time and freelance staff.
• Serve as manager of record for IATSE Local One Stagehands and Local 306 Projectionists in Lincoln Center halls.
• Develop learning plans for cross-training and collaborate on labor strategy, including union agreements.
