Job summary

EGN Consulting & Talent Recruiting seeks a Director of Process Controls to lead a skilled instrumentation and controls team on complex, highly regulated life sciences projects. You will guide design, documentation, installation and startup from concept through commissioning, ensuring alignment with engineering and field implementation.

You will shape strategic direction of the I&C function, develop technical standards, drive planning, and ensure regulatory compliance across multi-site projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Automation, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in process instrumentation and controls in pharma/life sciences.
• Proven expertise in instrumentation and process control system design and integration.
• Know-how of Rockwell, Siemens, DeltaV or similar DCS/SCADA systems.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5 and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team of instrumentation and controls professionals across life sciences projects.
• Guide design, documentation, installation and startup of instrumentation and control systems from concept to commissioning.
• Develop technical standards, drive project planning, ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead delivery of instrument and control system packages and liaison between engineering, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Mentor and develop I&C and automation leaders and grow the function within the company.
