Job summary

E Tech Group in the United States seeks a Senior Engineer to lead process automation engineering and system integration, from concept to startup, training operating personnel, in collaboration with a diverse team. You will design, implement, and test control systems; manage schedules and budgets; travel to client sites as needed; and act as a subject matter expert while upholding our core values.

BS in engineering required; 3–5 years experience in life sciences or related fields; familiarity

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience executing automation projects for process plants.
• BS Engineering degree or equivalent educational background.
• Detail oriented with strong technical aptitude and learning mindset.
• Knowledge of Instrumentation and Controls standards and codes (ISA S88, ISA S95, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11).
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, data collection, databases, historians, and reporting tools.
• Strong OO software development and delivery methodologies.
• Experience with virtual server-based control system architectures and network topology.
• Experience at customer sites supporting installation & commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, configuration, and testing of continuous and batch control applications.
• Develop project schedules and budgets and coordinate work with leadership; manage change orders.
• Provide expert guidance to clients and project teams to ensure client satisfaction.
• Travel to client sites and participate in design, development, and startup activities.
• Act as automation Subject Matter Expert and uphold core values and team development.
