Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Director of the Life-Focused Advanced Consulting Group (ACG) to shape strategy and lead a high‑caliber consulting organization. The role focuses on life insurance, annuity, and retirement solutions across multiple sales channels, delivering advanced case design, thought leadership, and client outcomes.

You will manage a team of Directors, own governance and risk, and partner with senior distribution leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Juris Doctorate preferred.
• FINRA Series 24/26 license required within 120 days of hire.
• CPA, CLU, CHFC preferred.
• Typically 8–10 years of industry experience.
• Ability to lead high‑performing teams and manage complex regulatory issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead Life ACG strategy and execution across Life distribution channels.
• Serve as senior liaison to Life distribution and refine the interaction model.
• Deliver consultative case design and product positioning support to professionals.
• Develop and present advanced education content and sales plays with Marketing.
• Oversee governance, risk, and performance metrics for Life ACG activities.
• Mentor and develop technical talent within the team.
• Leverage data, AI, and technology to enhance advanced planning for clients.
