Job summary
National Life Group is seeking a senior compliance leader to drive enterprise-level strategies for life insurance and annuity compliance. You will lead cross-location teams, partner with the Chief Compliance Officer for Life & Annuity, and shape policy and risk management practices to support growth and regulatory adherence.
You will coach leaders, deliver training, and advise operations and distribution on regulatory developments, while advancing a strong, collaborative compliance culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive compliance experience in life insurance.
- Ability to translate complex regulations for various audiences.
- Proven leadership with cross-location teams.
- Strategic and operational mindset.
- Strong collaboration with senior stakeholders.
- Ability to advise on regulatory developments.
Responsibilities
- Lead teams across multiple locations to design and implement compliance processes.
- Partner with Chief Compliance Officer for Life & Annuity to implement strategic initiatives.
- Provide strategic direction and independent judgments grounded in best practice.
- Coach and mentor direct reports to ensure success and accountability.
- Contribute to enterprise compliance planning and policy development (short–mid term).
- Advise business units on regulatory developments and requirements.
- Deliver training and awareness sessions to producers and home office associates.
