Qualifications

• Ten years life underwriting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of life underwriting principles and practices.
• Ability to coach, train and mentor other underwriters.

Responsibilities

• Underwrites complex life insurance applications up to the maximum handling limit.
• Reviews and determines eligibility and evidence of insurability.
• Educates internal and external partners on underwriting process, practice and tools.
• Coordinates, participates and leads training on technical issues.
